I wanted to make a full packing list for Bonnaroo 2026 to help out some newcomers… but Roo is in 2 weeks so I’m skipping all of the usual “Here’s my experience blah blah blah” typical travel blog stuff.
So here is a list of the BIG things you absolutely can not forget. Every link is to the actual item that I personally own, but of course there are always cheaper options. Okay, we’re running out of time. Here’s the list. Order quick so you get them before you have to pack the car.
See you on the farm 🙂

Essential Packing List
- Canopy – A MUST HAVE for shade at camp
- Camp Stove – If you want to cook at camp… and I think you should
- Cooler – Yeti is worth the money at Roo, but you can get a cheaper one if you want to
- Table – You need somewhere to put your camp kitchen and other goodies
- Chairs – These rocker chairs changed the game for camp naps
- Outdoor Rug – Seems extra, but way more comfortable on your feet than just a tarp
- Air Mattress – Comfortable sleep is SO important
- Tent – These dark room tents will help you sleep in as much as possible
- Cooling Towels – Wouldn’t be caught at camp without one around my neck
- Liquid IV – Don’t overdo it on these. One each morning is plenty
- Fans – I’ve bought a lot of fans over the years, and these are the strongest and have insane battery life
- Power Station – Extra, yes, but if you can swing it please do
- Solar Panels – Just 100w of solar will keep you almost at full battery for the entire weekend
- Anker Power Brick – Absolutely a NECESSITY and you can take into Centeroo with you
- Closet Organizer – Incredible for keeping things off the floor at camp (think ants and spiders)
- Battery String Lights – So you can see at night, but also just to set the vibe
- Earplugs – If you care about your hearing, please get these
- Rain Jacket – Doesn’t take up much space, and you never know when you might need it (I sure needed it in 2025 lol)
- Camelbak – There’s a lot of options, but this is the one I use because it’s lightweight so my shoulders don’t hurt after a long day
Remember to test all of your gear before you show up on the farm. Love you, see you soon
